Dai has been a mortgage and protection broker since 2008 and is also the principal Independent financial adviser for Sterling Welsh. He likes nothing more than talking about pensions and investments (yes he is sad!).
He runs a successful property portfolio himself and so has a keen interest in the buy-to-let sector of the market. He is passionate about protection and currently manages a client base with a mortgage book in excess of £10M.
Dai follows the Ospreys, coaches an under 8s rugby team and can be seen on various Swansea beaches walking his crazy Springer Spaniel.

Senior Mortgage Adviser
Les joined the team in 2010 and is a competent mortgage and protection adviser. Les also advises on equity release mortgages and is currently training to become a fully qualified independent financial adviser.
He is based in Machen and has a passion for football. His spare time is filled coaching a local U-16 boys football team and watching West Ham lose.

Commercial Mortgage Specialist
If it's a commercial mortgage or secured loan you need, then Nish is your man! He joined the team in 2012 after running a successful estate agency for 10 years.
He spends his free time with his two kids and helping his son to be the next Indian fast-bowl cricketer.

Rich joined in 2017 and had a background as a teacher, where he taught Physics for over 10-years. Rich loves nothing more than to wrestle with a difficult mortgage and has helped loads of first-time buyers achieve their dream of owning their first home.
Rich always goes the extra mile for his clients and thinks nothing of charging around South Wales if and when his clients' need his help.
Rich also has a buy to let portfolio and so loves dealing with landlords with similar interests to himself.
Rich is based in Llanharan where he lives with his 2 kids.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Hamid joined Sterling Welsh in 2017 after spending over 30 years as a mortgage and protection adviser. He lives in Edinburgh but does venture to Cardiff when it gets too cold for him in Scotland.
Hamid loves football and despite being the most senior member of the team, is by far the fittest and best looking member of Sterling Welsh. He loves touring the world with his lovely wife and can sometimes be seen frequenting the office in Cardiff.
Chantal Salt
OFFICE MANAGER
Chantal joined Sterling Welsh in early 2022. She manages the admin and books appointments for the team. She is the friendliest member of the team and will look after you during your personal financial journey; whatever that takes.
